The competition is heating up in the kitchen of MasterChef Junior with the season finale in sight with the six remaining. So far, they’ve been put through the ringer baking emoji cookies, serving the Harlem Globetrotters, venturing to the legendary Magic Castle, and enduring those mystery box challenges. We are getting down to the wire on Next Level Chef Season 3.
People are dropping like flies as dishes get harder to prepare and the pressure increases to make it to the finish line.
This is the stuff of nightmares, and Izayah lands a dish that could end his time on Next Level Chef.
With only six contestants remaining, the struggle to the top is harder than ever.
They can no longer count on lesser chefs fumbling the ingredients or that a good chef will make an error, sending them out of the game for good.
Next Level Chef ups the ante again in the "Picture Perfect" episode, where each contestant must create a dish from a photo, matching it exactly.
The picture-perfect challenge is often seen on Masterchef (and Masterchef Junior -- those poor kids), so if you watch those series, you'll be familiar with the premise.

Exclusive: Details have emerged about the circumstances surrounding DJ Nurre’s rather abrupt exit from Endemol Shine North America. As Deadline reported exclusively Monday, Nurre, one of the company’s top unscripted executives, has left after six years.
According to sources, Nurre was let go for violating company policy following an investigation into alleged misconduct. I hear an outside firm was hired to examine claims of alleged sexual harassment related to an incident during production and its aftermath.
“As per our policy, we do not share specifics about employees leaving the company,” a spokesperson for Endemol Shine North America said in a statement to Deadline, declining further comment.
Nurre’s attorney, Michael Weinsten, issued a statement to Deadline about the firing.
“My client was terminated for allegedly violating company policy,” he said. “To be 100% clear, he vehemently denies having engaged in harassment of anyone in any form at any time in his career.

Emmy-winning talk show host Daphne Oz is back on the judging panel for Season 9 of “MasterChef Junior.” She joins chefs Gordon Ramsay, Aarón Sánchez and, for the first time ever, Gordon’s daughter Tilly Ramsay. Watch her exclusive interview above, where Daphne dishes on her favorite moments from the show, her own family history with cooking, and what junk food her father, Dr. Mehmet Oz, is willing to indulge in.
“It is one of the best shows to watch if you love food and you love competition,” Daphne declares. “I love watching ‘MasterChef Junior’ with my kids because I think that they get very inspired, frankly, by other kids, their age, who are fearless in the kitchen, who are cooking with crazy ingredients. It makes the idea of them getting in the kitchen and making their own snack or helping me make dinner that much more enticing.”
