Rodolfo, however, succeeds in killing the traitor, also injuring the judge. So Melina goes to her husband's bedside, while Rodolfo, morbidly tied to her sister Carmela, first kills her boyfriend and then gives her a bride to Dr. Fidemi, a man of dubious manhood, just to cover the drama he has been abused for years.
- Saints, before leaving the magistrate, identifies with the help of Alma Vinci the assassin of Cantavalle and Maffei, is Rodolfo di Venanzio. This feeling hurt, and despite Fred's ban, he kills Judge Saints. Even the little Nicolas, Tonio's son, dies in the attack. Tonio agrees to collaborate with the new magistrate, Francesca De Santis, and returns to Sicily to find the killer of her son and brother.
- While Tonio, according to the agreements with Francesca, attempts to regain the trust of the bosses of Sirenuse, Rodolfo, with the help of Assunta, kidnaps Dario with the intent of asking for a ransom to woman Rosangela: those money will serve him to buy the drug provided by Lebanese Karim. Rosangela, then, asks for help from Tonio. Unfortunately, the events precipitate: Dario and Assunta lose their lives overwhelmed by Rodolfo Di Venanzio's murderous folly.

He tries to kill the last of Di Venanzio, but he shoots at Tonio faster.
