Porky Pig and Daffy Duck probably won’t be heading for a career in real estate, as seen in a new preview clip from the forthcoming theatrical release The Day the Earth Blew Up: A Looney Tunes Movie.
Director Pete Browngardt’s sci-fi comedy from Warner Bros. Animation is set to hit theaters domestically later this year but does not yet have an announced release date. The project focuses on Porky and Daffy (both voiced by Eric Bauza) learning that aliens are plotting to overtake the planet, which leads the pair to put their differences aside and help save the world.
The sequence shows the Looney Tunes mainstays cutting countless corners while attempting to prepare their home ahead of an inspection. “Well, Porky, we’re all finished,” Daffy says triumphantly. “Here’s to passing this inspection and living another year just the way we like it.”

Woody Woodpecker Goes to Camp is a movie directed by Jonathan A. Rosenbaum. It stars Eric Bauza, Kevin Michael Richardson, and Tom Kenny.
Basing on Woody, a character given life by producer Walter Lantz and cartoonist Ben “Bugs” Hardaway. Woody was a star from the 40s to 72. Yes, fifty years have passed, but here is Woody again, with all of the animation spirit.
Like what happened with the cinema adaptation of Tom & Jerry, this movie picks up an almost forgotten old cartoon and is, indeed, totally faithful to its original style: same characters, same jokes and, in current times, some might argue a bit out of context.
There will be those who like this blend of times in a kind of space-time wormhole … and others might not.
A movie totally designed for the youthful audience or for the nostalgics … very nostalgic ones.
Plot

"This might hurt a little..." Netflix has revealed an official trailer for a movie called Woody Woodpecker Goes to Camp, another strange hybrid-cgi creation involving the classic animated character Woody Woodpecker (first created in 1940). This looks as weird and wacky as anything can, almost freaky, because it's so absurd and dumb. There was another really bad Woody Woodpecker: The Movie in 2017 as well, now Netflix has their own for everyone to laugh at. Technically this is a sequel to that direct-to-video movie. In Woody Woodpecker Goes To Camp, Woody Woodpecker must find a new home after being kicked out of the forest. At Camp Woo Hoo, he thinks he's found a forever home, but there's an inspector on the loose who wants to shut down the camp. Starring Eric Bauza as the voice of Woody, with Mary-Louise Parker, Josh Lawson, Chloe De Los Santos, Esther Son, Evan Stanhope, Kevin Michael Richardson...

Ezra Miller has quietly been recast as the voice of D.A. Sinclair in Prime Video’s animated series “Invincible.” Miller voiced the character in one episode in the show’s first season.
The character, a deranged scientist who kills humans and turns them into robots, was defeated in the first season but resurrected in a nightmare sequence in “Invincible” Season 2, but Miller did not return for the role. The character is instead voiced by Eric Bauza (“X-Men ’97”) in the sequence.
Prime Video and Miller’s representatives did not immediately respond to TheWrap’s request for comment.
The news follows a tumultuous two years for Miller, who was charged with a felony count of burglary into an occupied dwelling and a minor charge of petit larceny after a video showed them unlawfully entering Isaac Winokur’s home in May of last year.

The news follows a tumultuous two years for Miller, who was charged with a felony count of burglary into an occupied dwelling and a minor charge of petit larceny after a video showed them unlawfully entering Isaac Winokur’s home in May of last year.

Ezra Miller’s role in Prime Video’s Invincible has seemingly been recast in the wake of the actor’s controversies leading up to the release of The Flash.
In season one of the animated series, Miller, who uses they/them pronouns, voiced District Attorney Sinclair, a genius who attended Upstate University and believes that human weaknesses can be solved by engineering. After being defeated by the Invincible team, he returns in this week’s episode of season two, “I’m Not Going Anywhere.”
This time around, however, it appears the mad scientist is no longer voiced by Miller but instead by Eric Bauza. The actor has more than 350 voice credits, including X-Men ’97, Krapopolis, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Rick & Morty.
The Hollywood Reporter has reached out to Miller’s rep and Prime Video for comment.

Invincible Season 2 just dropped its seventh episode and the Amazon Prime Video series continues to be amazing and intriguing. Besides the stellar permanent cast of Steven Yeun, J.K. Simmons, and Sandra Oh playing the Grayson family, the series also has numerous guest stars both in seasons 1 and 2. Robert Kirkman earlier explained how he got the likes of Mark Hamill and Seth Rogen voicing different roles on his show.

Kirkman explained that rather than auditioning the actors for their roles, the series invited these prominent actors to voice different roles. Some of the cast were privy to voice work, while the others blindly trusted Kirkman and the Invincible team to join the series.

For a short bit there, it seemed like Ezra Miller’s career was going to be torpedoed thanks to numerous controversies. Yet, Miller managed to stay on board The Flash. Ok, so that was yet another flop for DC but it showed there was still (some) support for Miller within the industry in one way or another. But now, it might truly be over, as Invincible, has quietly removed Miller from the series. The actor had been previously cast as D.A. Sinclair. So where does that leave the troubled star?
While Ezra Miller voiced the mad scientist with a penchant for turning people into obedient cyborgian zombie soldiers called “Reanimen” in the first season, Eric Bauza has now taken over the role. Invincible Season 2 Part 2 saw Allen the Alien not only recover from his various injuries but basically come back stronger than a full-blooded Viltrumite. This is proven in his short encounter with Anissa, the “reasonable” Viltrumite who went to Earth to convince Mark to take his job as Earth’s conqueror seriously.
Allen the Alien fighting Anissa in Invincible Season 2 Episode 7
By the end of the episode, Allen allowed himself to be captured on purpose, probably as a part of a bigger plan. It must be noted that Allen was intercepted by the Viltrumites as he was returning to the Coalition of Planets from Earth, right after scanning Nolan’s books that reveal Viltrumites’ weaknesses.

Although he has made some memorable on-screen appearances, Ezra Miller’s career seems to be on a downward spiral, as the Hollywood actor has been fired from yet another major project. Namely, when the seventh episode of Amazon’s adaptation of Invincible aired, titled “I’m Not Going Anywhere”, the character of D.A. Sinclair appeared once again, but unlike season one, he was not voiced by Ezra Miller anymore. This came as a sort of surprise for everyone, as it had not been announced that Miller was fired from the series. The character is now voiced by Eric Bauza.
The second part of Invincible‘s second season premiered on March 14, 2024, after a several-month break and no information about Miller being recast had been released; Deadline has contacted Amazon, but no official statement has been released regarding this change in the voice cast of the series.

After The Flash actor Ezra Miller faced a string of controversies, it seems that Amazon’s Invincible opted to play it safe and replace the actor with voice acting legend Eric Bauza. And it appears, Prime Video executed this change rather subtly, as Miller had previously voiced the character, Mad Scientist Da Sinclair who first appeared in the episode called You Look Kinda Dead in Season 1. However, when Sinclair reappeared in the latest episode of the series, the character was voiced by Bauza. But who is Eric Bauza?

Eric Bauza is somewhat of a big deal in voice acting, known for voicing famous characters like Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck from Looney Tunes. Originally from Scarborough, Toronto, he has now become essentially an A-lister in the industry. Apart from Looney Tunes, he’s worked on a bunch of...

On November 25, 1940, the character of Woody Woodpecker first appeared in the short cartoon “Knock, Knock”. Created by Walter Lantz and Ben Hardaway, Woody has become one of the most recognizable cartoon characters in history. Since then, numerous adaptations starring or featuring Woody Woodpecker have been produced, thus turning the initially-anthology character into a proper brand. And while it has been some time since we’ve seen Woody on the big screen, Netflix is slated to bring us a new animated / live-action crossover adaptation titled Woody Woodpecker Goes to Camp, which is set to premiere on the streaming service on April 12, 2024. Ahead of the movie’s release, the first trailer has finally been released.

It appears Ezra Miller was quietly recast as mad scientist D.A. Sinclair in Season 2 of Prime Video’s Invincible.
Miller voiced the character in one episode in the first season of the adult animated series, but when Sinclair appeared in the March 28th episode, the character was voiced by Eric Bauza.
Deadline has reached out to Prime Video for comment.
Miller, embattled star of The Flash and Fantastic Beasts, has been embroiled in multiple scandals. Last year, they pleaded guilty to unlawful trespassing in a burglary case in Vermont after cutting a plea deal ahead of the hearing. “Coyote vs. Acme” star Will Forte has broken his silence on Warner Bros.’ shelving of the completed but unlikely-to-be-released Looney Tunes movie. Forte posted a statement to social media addressed to the film’s cast and crew on Thursday, praising their work on the “incredible” film.

“Super funny throughout, visually stunning, sweet, sincere, and emotionally resonant in a very earned way,” the “Saturday Night Live” alum wrote.

Warner Bros. Discovery CEO David Zaslav is facing intense criticism yet again after the studio disclosed $115 million in abandoned film write-downs in an earnings report on Friday. The news renewed outrage over Zaslav’s strategy of canceling projects for tax benefits, with fans calling for his ousting. The write-offs likely include the scrapped $70 million film Coyote vs. Acme. Warner Bros. initially planned to release the animated Looney Tunes spinoff theatrically in 2023, before new animation leadership decided to shelve it.

Those following the saga of Coyote vs. Acme waited with bated breath Friday for Warner Bros. Discovery’s earnings report to hint at any signs of the animated film’s fate.
The feature became the most talked about movie in town on Nov. 10, when The Hollywood Reporter broke the news that Warners intended to scrap the movie. The outcry from filmmakers on social media was swift, and Warners soon reversed course, and decided to allow director Dave Green to shop the film to other buyers — something Green had been preparing to do when Warners surprised him by scrapping the film. What a dynamite idea!
While Paramount, Netflix and others consider buying Coyote Vs. Acme from Warner Bros., Wile E. Coyote himself (voice actor Eric Bauza) has shared the first image from the much-discussed film on social media with the caption, “See ya in 2024!!”
Whether that’s a promise or a prediction is unclear, but Bauza certainly did his best to give the project a boost going into the new year.
The photo itself reveals a concerned-looking Coyote in a courtroom setting with Will Forte. See it below.

Veteran voice actor Eric Bauza, who plays Wile E., shared the first-look photo on Sunday via X (fka Twitter/how much longer do we have to keep making that delineation for everyone?).
